Leadership Is War: Why Weak Leaders Are the Real National Security Threat

The Illusion of Safety
Most executives think security is about cameras, guards, and a few fancy access cards. It’s not. Real security starts with leadership. The kind that doesn’t flinch when chaos hits. The kind that makes decisions when it counts. The kind that gets blood on its hands when most people hide behind titles and optics.
I’ve spent my life watching how weak leadership corrodes our institutions from within, and now I build forces that prove there’s another way.
From the White House to the Streets
I didn’t start in private security. I started in the blue-collar world at the young age of 13 and enlisted in the Army a few years after high school. From there, college and on to the federal government, walking the halls of the White House, auditing federal agencies as part of the DHS Office of Inspector General. I saw firsthand how red tape and soft leadership crippled our ability to act. I authored and influenced multiple DHS OIG reports, but no matter how well we documented the problem, nothing changed. I didn’t want to keep reporting failure, I wanted to fix it.
So I left D.C. and went to the front lines. Bought a broken, stagnant security firm, CPS1, and gutted the culture. The kind of job no one with a resume like mine should’ve touched. But I don’t care for comfort. I care for results.
Today, CPS1 is an elite private security machine, awarded “Best of American Security Leadership,” and one of the few firms that actually penalizes itself when things go wrong. We don’t file incident reports and forget that we adapt, we evolve, and we own the consequences.
The Birth of Phobos Security: A Warning Shot
Now I’m doing it again. This time in Pennsylvania. I’ve launched Phobos Security, a tactical force specializing in healthcare, commercial, and executive protection. And this isn’t just another business announcement.
It’s a warning shot.
To every property owner, every complacent executive who thinks they’re “secure enough,” you’re not. And you’ll find out the hard way unless you call us.
We don’t sell warm bodies. We sell force multipliers. Strategic presence. Mobile and static units. Executive protection that actually protects. We are the firewall between chaos and your assets.
Pain Is the Brand
I didn’t build these firms with venture capital and boardrooms. I built them with pain. With 20-hour days. With chronic injury, I live with a fused spine and still outwork guys half my age. I’ve lost personal relationships. I’ve taken on clients others refused. The pain, the pressure, the betrayal, that’s where the Lawless name was forged.
LawlessOps, my tactical personal brand, exploded from 200 to over 8,000 followers on Instagram in just a month. Why? Because people are tired of sanitized leadership. They want raw. They want genuine and raw. And I give them tattoos, guns, and hard truths. We don’t do code words. We do savage clarity. We do, Lawless.
No Excuses. No Victims.
CPS1 and Phobos are more than companies. They are statements.
- That leadership beats bureaucracy.
- That fear is a compass, not a stop sign.
- That silence, discipline, and obsession will outlast any trend or excuse.
And if you’ve been through hell, childhood trauma, pain, or betrayal, use it. That’s what my soon-to-be-released book, Lawless Leadership: Hardwired from Hardship, is about. Not to inspire you with words, but to make you move.
You don’t need more motivation. You need more consequences.
Turning Security Into Strategy
Here’s how we operate:
- Executive Protection: subscription-based or ad hoc. We’re not your buddy, we’re your shield.
- Mobile and Static Defense: fast, visible, and relentless.
- High-Risk Property & Asset Protection: especially in healthcare and commercial sectors.
- Threat and Vulnerability Assessments: built for the real world, not for paperwork.
- Leadership Consulting: When Lives or Empires Are on the Line.
We play offense while competitors play defense. They train guards; we train warriors.
Eyes on the Horizon
My vision isn’t small. I’m building a network of elite private protection firms under the LawlessOps flag. Global expansion: Europe, LATAM, and the Middle East. A leadership academy for high-risk professionals. One day, a private military command that moves faster, strikes harder, and serves smarter than any government unit.
The world is burning. I’m not building a brand, I’m building the wall.
Final Word
Weak leadership is the real threat to national security. Cameras won’t save you. Fancy job titles won’t protect you. Strong men don’t make excuses. They make enemies. If you’re done outsourcing your safety to soft, bloated systems, it’s time to move. Security isn’t a service. It’s a warning.
